Tier Toys has some of the most innovative toys I have ever seen! That’s why I was so excited when I received the Noah’s Ark Stacker from Tier Toys! I couldn’t wait to break it out and play with it…I mean have Leah play with it. I love that this cool Ark has 12 levels of storage and 44 play figures! The figures range from elephants to monkeys and they even have Kangaroos, since Tier Toys is based out of Australia! I love that the figures all fit nicely into the ark and they are plastic, so even if your child (like mine) still puts things into their mouth, they can’t break or bend! I love the primary colors that is uses and is so simple but fun.

The Noah’s Ark is not only a great Toddler Toy BUT it can entertain older children as well! This ark not only serves as a great playing area BUT also a puzzle as you figure out exactly how the ark stacks.

I received the cutest outfit for Leah from Kicky Pants to review. It was a darling striped pink, brown, white and green Polo shirt and matching pants. I was sent the Brown Frog Moccasins to review for little bug. I just love these, they are perfect for keeping his feet warm in these freezing cold winter months. They are very well made and look great. I got him the 2Y size since he is 2 1/2. I love the idea of having your little baby wear moccasins instead of uncomfortable shoes, especially when they are learning to walk. So I will be buying some children’s moccasins for the rest of my future children as well!

What better way to say I Love You this Valentine's Day than with a trip to Build-A-Bear?

Every child I know that has been to Build-A-Bear falls in love the minute the walk through the doors!

Build-A-Bear gave me and my boys the VIP treatment by letting us go into our local store to create a friend. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and the whole process was explained to us. Then my boys each chose the animal they wanted to make. Bug chose a Monkey, and C chose a Wolf.

Then they were able to choose a sound to go inside (very fun!) and they even got to decide where they wanted the sound to go. After they finished brushing their animals so they were nice and clean, they were told they could choose any clothing and accessories they wanted! You should have seen the look on their faces, sheer delight! It was like Christmas Day all over again. Each chose an adorable outfit, Bug chose an outfit with airplane on it. He loves “airpains”, and a really cute pair of brown shoes. And C chose a snowboarding outfit, sketchers shoes, sports sunglasses and a snowboard. Yeah, his Wolf is totally decked out, and he loves it! Once the animals where all dressed we got to put all our info into the computer.

Did you know if your child loses his/her Build-A-Bear animal and it gets returned to a store, they can contact you to get your child’s special friend back home. Pretty cool. Your child even gets to pick a name for their new friend and a birth certificate prints out for them to keep. Last but not least each animal gets it’s own “Home” to ride home in. (that was bugs favorite part, he just can’t get enough of that cardboard box, go figure!) We had such a wonderful experience at Build-A-Bear, the staff was so sweet and very helpful and I love the clean friendly environment. We will be visiting Build-A-Bear many more times and will be recommending them to all our friends with children.

 I was so excited when The Dress-Up Drawer said they would send me a Super Cape for bug to review!  He has been on a “Flying” kick, big thanks to his new favorite person Buzz Light-year from Toy Story.  He loves pretending he is flying, so when I opened the package with his adorable Cape (with his initial on it), I said “Look, this is to help you fly”.  His eyes lit up as I put it on him.   He then ran around the room with his arms out like he was flying.  He said “I fly like Buzz!” then he climbed on the couch and flew (jumped) off.  His reaction was so priceless! He has been wearing it around the house ever since.  And even when it was time to go to Grandma’s house he wanted to take his Super Hero Cape with him.  The fabric is very soft so it is comfortable for him to wear it around his neck without bothering him.  It has a Velcro closure which is really great for safety because it is very easy for him to take off by himself.  The Dress-Up Drawer makes wonderful capes and I think every child deserves to feel like a Super Hero!

Leah is not yet at the age to where I am even thinking of potty training her, but I have been looking for lots of different ideas on when to start. These books are a hit! Thanks to Scandinavian Child, I was sent the Micralite Toro Stroller in orange with the Rider attachment to review.  I really like the look of this stroller.  It has such a modern and fun look to it, and it doesn’t look like all the other generic strollers out there.  It was really easy to put together, it only took me a few minutes.  It folds fast and easy and stands (very sturdy) all on it’s own when folded.  I love that, I get sick of the strollers that tip over at the slightest touch or just don’t stand upright when folded.  It is really nice for storage.  It fully reclines so your child can lay flat or sit completely upright.   It has a nice sized basket underneath that easily holds my diaper bag. And best of all you can keep this stroller the way it is or adapt it to fit your families needs with all the fabulous accessories available. Now about the Rider attachment.  I can’t get enough of this.  You simply connect it to the back of the stroller and viola! Your older child can stand behind (just in front of you while you are pushing).  This is perfect for your child that is “a big kid” and doesn’t want to ride in the stroller, but still whines “I’m tired” when they are sick of walking.   My nephew loves it, and I it is a relief to be able to have the whining stop!   The Rider folds up and out of the way when not in use.  This is nice because then you don’t have to take it off when your not using it and reattach it when you want to use it.  It is always there and ready to go.  And the Rider they sent me also came with Multi Position Handle Bars, they make the handles longer so that makes it more comfortable for the person pushing it while the child is standing on the back.  The Rider is sold separately from the Toro so make sure you purchase one along with your Toro.  This stroller is awesome!!
