I received the cutest book called "Mandy and Pandy Play Sports" by Chris Chiaru Linn. This book is actually the 4th in the series Mandy and Pandy. It teaches kids some basic phrases in chinese and also shows how to pronounce the words! The book is a fun filled board book all about playing sports with Mandy and her Panda Bear friend Pandy. It ranges from kicking the soccer ball to shooting hoops and even gymnastics and track! This cute book also comes with a cd that is spoken in English and Chinese. I really love the illustrations and so does Leah! Although she is just learning to speak , I can't wait to have her try and learn some of these fun words and phrases with me. My favorite phrase in the book is “Wow, he can slam dunk! Awesome!" The board book is very colorful and has fun bright pictures, that children of all ages will love.

It is so easy and there are recipes for anyones taste buds. One of the best dishes I tried was the Chicken, Mushrooms and Parmesan with Orzo. The recipe was easy. I had my shopping list right there and they even give you tips on how to omit the chicken to make this a vegetarian dish. WOW! They also mention how this makes a great left over lunch dish. Um, yeah. I actually ate it cold in sandwich form with a slice of wheat bread and it was so tasty. I eat a lot of hot dishes cold, in sandwich form. LOL You should try this one that way for sure. I also love that Can I get the Recipe? includes featured cookbooks as well as reviews and giveaways. You can win great kitchen gadgets. Who wouldn't love that!!! I really enjoyed my time spent on their site and will go back often to find great recipes for my family. I was also very thankful that they sent me a wonderful cookbook to review.

I couldn't wait to receive the Princess Potty and Pirate Potty Books by Scholastic to review! Leah is not yet at the age to where I am even thinking of potty training her, but I have been looking for lots of different ideas on when to start. These books are a hit! LeapFrog sent us the Tag Junior book pal to review.  It is such a fun product.  Bug loves books but lately he has been getting frustrated when I try to read them to him, (independent phase).   With the Tag Junior he can read the books himself (or have them read to him that is). It requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) so make sure you have them handy Christmas morning. It comes with a sampler book called if I were…that has 16 activities and over 70 audio responses.  It is pre loaded onto the Tag Junior so your child can try it out right away.  LeapFrog also sent us an extra Curious George book to go along with the Tag Junior.  Bug was so excited!  It was great to see how fast he caught on on how to use it.  You simply press it to a page and it read the page.  You can even set it so the Tag Junior will greet your child by name.  I haven’t had time to try that feature out yet but it sounds very fun! You can download the audio for up to 5 books at a time (USB cord included).  I will be buying him the Cars book and Sesame Street book (since he is really into them as well), they will be perfect stocking stuffers to go along with his Tag Junior!  This is a wonderful product and I recommend it to any parent or Grandparent buying for a 2-4 year old!
