I have to admit that I’ve never really worn pearls before… they always seemed a little old-fashioned for me. The black color makes them hip and fashionable and I feel great wearing them. The website gives a history on the Akoya pearls, which is the “classic pearl”. They are treated in order to get the beautiful black color. The pearl necklace came with a certified appraisal (it is valued at over $1000!), a pearl care kit, and a beautiful gift box. Pearl Paradise has pearls in so many different colors, including pink and chocolate! The chocolate pearls are pretty pricey, but they are seriously gorgeous! They would make a great gift- it was fun and exciting to open!
