When I first brought my oldest Harrison home from the hospital I kept him in sleepers. Even his tiniest baby socks fell off his little feet, meaning any outfit without feet attached were unusable. The velcro allows you to tighten the socks around his ankle so that they are still comfortable and won’t fall off. Sometimes when you get socks that “fit” and won’t fall off of baby’s foot, they are so tight you leave marks on their little ankles. Not good. But the other option is no better- you’re constantly putting baby’s socks back on, sometimes forcing you to re-trace your steps to even find them. Plus when you’re not using them, you can velcro them together to keep from losing one. Often when you make the choice to use the most practical baby stuff, you sacrifice cuteness.
