Mompreneurs Cafe was started by Jan Hefferin. The cafe launched on May 7, 2009.

I asked Jan what made her want to start Mompreneur Cafe, and this is what she said: "Women in business and mothers who balance parenting and business truly inspire me. I have a passion for and saw a need for a go-to place for women to go to connect with other like-minded women. Women love to network and tend to bond fairly quickly over commonalities.
