The Story behind the start of Sweety Baby:

“Since my daughter was born her hair has gone through many different stages. Upon entering the world she had a full head of dark hair, which soon got rubbed away in specific places, leaving her with a flattering tonsure look :) It eventually grew in slowly and took on a lighter red hue, especially in the sun. So with her red hair and blue eyes we often wondered where she came from, seeing that my husband and I are brown-eyed brunettes.

Then her hair stuck straight in the air. She looked like a boy with a buzz cut, people even asked me if I cut her hair that way, which was immediately returned with a puzzled stare, such as saying "why in the world would I do that?" Well it slowly calmed down and finally laid down for the most part but then became so super fine I could do nothing with it!
I tried to hold her bangs back with a small elastic band, which worked for a while until she realized she could take it out and eat it, yum! So then I tried various clips, all which stayed in for a few minutes before they slid out onto the floor, posing a choking hazard for my child, as if I didn't have enough to worry about already!

So that's when I decided to make these clips, which I wish I would've had since her birth. They stay in super fine baby hair (even if there is hardly any of it) and even work in thicker hair. They do wonders at letting strangers know that your baby is a girl (not that the pink outfit she's wearing shouldn't do that already) so that you don't get those awkward "Oh HE is so precious!" comments. And finally they are just so cute I can't help having a matching one for every outfit!”-Leigh
